We have been bitten by vampire movies, but what do you look like you Dracula and Twilight tired you seen?

The subgenre of horror had momentarily revive the Twilight series, meanwhile everybody knows all variations on the story of Dracula and even originated with Dracula Untold from 2014. At first sight there seems to be nothing more than that in the genre down, but fortunately that’s not really the case. A lot of big and small films dare to approach vampires in an original way. These are seven vampire movies to sink your teeth into:

Let the Right One In (2008)

Of the Swedish approach on the vampire genre you will no doubt have heard, because the Americans said they could not beat a decent adaptation of that anyway the original in 2010. These are three very strong reasons to build this wacky action comedy, a remake of the eponymous film of 1985 that is not quite obsolete.

Byzantium (2012)

In the dreary England are two vampires of 200 years old, mother and daughter in Exile. Eleanor , the perfect role for Saoirse Ronan who is working this year with her breakthrough gradually tells the background story around their vampire existence. This ensures that the film is a semi-costume drama. Meanwhile plays Gemma Arterton as graceful vampire to survive its strengths. The atmosphere is tense and fascinating images. The director is no stranger to the genre, Neil Jordan was in fact responsible for Interview with the Vampire .

30 Days of Night (2007)

After 40 Days and 40 Nights full of abstinence, was Josh Hartnett 30 days insist in the dark Alaska sickly-looking vampires. 30 Days of Night is based on the comic of the same name, a must for every horror fan. Only Lovers Left Alive (2013)

The latter has been replaced by Tom Hiddleston , clearly a better choice to play a world alien vampire. Swinton and Hiddleston interpret two blood addict vampires, he is the eternal loner and his savior. Full of strong performances this poetic vampire film shows how ancient creatures still trying to find meaning in life, or simply search for it have given up.

What We Do in the Shadows (2015)

One of the best films of last year put the mockumentary – and vampire genre on its head. The hilarious fictional documentary introduces a group of vampires, including Jemaine Clement of Flight of the Conchords , which attempts to adapt to the 21st century, with all its consequences.
