The creator of the TV series Community , Dan Harmon , has been hired by Marvel to write some additional scenes of Doctor Strange . The film, starring Benedict Cumberbatch in the role of Steven Strange, will be released this October. The Hollywood Reporter has released to the news before.
Dan Harmon joins other writers of Doctor Strange, that the director Scott Derrickson, C. Robert Cargill, and Jon Spaihts. This is one of the best sci fi movies of 2016 to watch for.
Harmon is not the first member of the Community production to land in Marvel. Before him we remember Joe and Anthony Russo directors of some episodes of the comedy. The brothers then directed, as we know, Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War . They will direct, in the coming years, the next two films about Avengers . Additional shots are nothing new. Especially blockbusters of this type, it is not uncommon that the production will find yourself to refine some scenes. For Marvel in particular, we know that additional acquisitions were made for Captain America: Civil War and the Guardians of the Galaxy .
But just because Dan Harmon? Perhaps to give his trademark comic cut in some strategic points of the film?
As we noted in the first two trailers released by Doctor Strange, we can notice a decidedly dramatic and tense – leaving out the gags of the wi-fi starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Chiwetel Ejiofor .
